"Her Idea" is a beautiful Tom Fexas designed custom 90' Queenship motoryacht. The original owner was a very knowledgable yachtsman and incorporated a large list of custom features into the build of this vessel.

The vessel boards from the large, teak covered swim platform with numerous removable "staples" or can be done via a Marquipt folding stairwell to port or Starboard. from the stern Two curved staircases rise up on either side to the aft deck, and a watertight door provide access to the engine room. There are five watertight hatches in the swim platform providing copious storage including spare propeller storage.
The covered, teak floored aft deck has built in seating with two teak dining tables that can be combined to seat 10 persons, mini fridge, and a concealed remote helm station.
The main salon is a widebody design making the salon interior extremely large and also helps protect the aft deck from wind coming on the nose.
The aft deck/salon companionway is configured with large dual sliding glass door with painted aluminum frames that provides an all open feeling to the two areas.
The pilothouse has watertight sliding doors on either side, opening to a broad side deck with access to the foredeck.
The teak decked foredeck is configured with a large, queen size sun pad on top of a voluminous storage area with a bench seat in front. On the foredeck are two teak chaise lounges. All exterior seating areas have matching upholstery.
The top deck aft of the semi-enclosed flybridge included a built-in stainless steel propane BBQ with overhead ventilation hood, adjacent food prep area, bar sink, and a built-in, 4-person hot tub.
The aft deck also included storage for water toys with two electric/hydraulic deck cranes with extension jib, storage for two 2014 SeaDoo spark jet skis, two paddle boards, and the 2014 Boston Whaler tender with a 60hp Mercury outboard.
On top of the flybridge hard top was storage for two kayaks as well as two open array radar antennas and a powder coated aluminum mast with two TracVision satellite TV dishes and various GPS and VHF antennas.
There are two opening portlights in the cabin(s), and fifteen in the hull. There are twenty seven fixed windows in the cabin.
The design of the hull/deck joint is vertical lap bonded with fasteners on approximately 4" centers thus making Her Idea very rigid.
The decks are bonded teak decking or nonskid, all are in great condition.
The interior is finished with cherry and wainscoting paneling throughout. The floors are covered with cherry & maple soles. The ceiling overhead has cherry box beams creating an intimate feel over the seating area to port. On the forward bulkhead are various cabinets and a counter, with a sliding pass-through hatch to the galley and a door to close off for formal entertaining. The cabinets are fitted for glass and bottle storage areas and a U-Line wine cooler. The port side cabinet was redesigned with several drawers for silverware and plate storage. The starboard most cabinet in this area is devoted to Audio Video equipment. Located to port and flanked against a salon window is a desk and chair. This area is divided from the rest of the salon by a low counter in which is stored the large plasma TV on a high-low lift.
Starboard forward is a day head with vanity and window. Just to starboard in the salon and amidships is a passageway down to the captain quarters and master stateroom.
The salon has large fixed and sliding windows port and starboard and aft with a double sliding door to the after deck. To starboard is a liquor locker. To port aft is a very comfortable L-shaped lounge with two convertible tables, three chairs and another easy chair. Located on the starboard side aft corner are two large easy chairs with an ottoman and lamp desk. The low-mounted windows provide excellent visibility when seated anywhere in the lounge.
The galley is forward of the salon and aft of the pilothouse. The galley can be completely closed off from the salon and lower helm area with wood pocket sliding doors. The galley is full width with fixed and sliding windows port and starboard. There are two portholes on the angled bulkhead forward on either side. Located on the starboard side of the salon is a long dinette table with the main galley area to port. The galley is in general a large U-shaped area with an island in the center and has Corian countertops. The center island features abundant storage and a large countertop. Hidden in a cabinet is another TV with remote for the galley settee. The double galley sink includes a filtered water dispenser.
The galley features a Kitchenaid 120v front-loading refrigerator and freezer, two Kitchenaid ovens, a Miele electric five-burner infrared cooktop, Miele dishwasher, and Panasonic microwave oven.
There is a Sub-Zero two-drawer "hidden" freezer was installed next to the main fridge in the Galley, Sub-Zero undercounter fridge and freezer is installed next to the dinette, Undercounter Sub-Zero freezer and fridge installed on the flybridge, U-Line undercounter wine cooler was installed in the salon, Danby undercounter freezer was installed to port in the cockpit.
The pilothouse has a five window windshield. The three center windows have windshield washers and wipers. There is a single pedestal mount Stidd helm chair at the console with a large comfortable bench seat and table aft. There are watertight sliding side deck doors port and starboard, a door to the salon aft to starboard, stairs forward to starboard down to the living accommodations, and stairs port aft up to the flybridge. The stairs to the upper helm area hinged to allow access to storage underneath. On the starboard side down low are three AC panels with circuit breakers for easy access.

The master stateroom can be accessed from either the aft or forward staircases. The full beam master is spacious with centerline king bed with underbed storage drawers. It has two large opening stainless steel portlights on each side. Located to port is a small desk and built-in bank of drawers. Aft and forward is a double door hanging locker. Built-in on the starboard side is a double bank of drawers and a sit-down vanity with lift up desktop. Forward to port are built-in bookshelves with entertainment equipment.
Forward to starboard is a generous sized master head with single vanity, sink, faucet, and mirrored medicine cabinet. Forward in the head is a full size tub/shower combo with built-in Jacuzzi whirlpool. There is a single Raritan toilet located inboard and a single opening stainless steel port light outboard. There is a TV, DVD, and satellite receiver common to each stateroom
Accessed via the aft main salon stairs to the lower aft foyer is access to the VIP or Captain's cabin. This cabin has an athwartship queen size berth outboard to port with two stainless steel opening port lights above. The berth is flanked by a nightstand on both sides of the berth. There were two stacked berths to aft on the port side. Each berth has a draw curtain for privacy, and its own DVD player and TV. Directly forward of the guest head there is a custom designed full length hanging locker. This cabin also has its own TV mounted on a bulkhead to starboard of the guest head. Located on the aft bulkhead is a double door system for access to the engine room via a quick acting watertight door with an additional wood joinery door. In the aft starboard side of the cabin is an ensuite bathroom with full size shower, vanity, single sink, and faucet with mirrored medicine cabinet above. Aft is a single Raritan toilet. Inboard is a built-in entertainment center with hidden overlay doors. In addition to the entertainment equipment, this cabin also included a B & G Hydra 2000 multifunction display, and a ship's alarm and security repeater panel.
Accessed via the forward lower companionway is the port forward guest cabin. It has a single queen size berth located outboard with single stainless steel opening port light above. Inboard is a three-drawer dresser with mirror above and retractable desk/writing panel. Forward is a suspended TV entertainment system. Forward of that is a full height hanging locker. Forward in the cabin is the ensuite bath with single vanity, sink, faucet, and mirrored medicine cabinet. Aft is a full height fiberglass shower enclosure with curtain and rod. Inboard is a single Raritan toilet.
Guest Stateroom Forward or Crew
Located forward on the lower deck and accessed via the stairs from the pilothouse is the forward most v-berth cabin, which functions as a guest stateroom or crew's quarters. This cabin had double berth on the starboard side of the stateroom and an upper and lower single berth beds on the port. There is built-in storage below these berths and a pull out step up as well . Port and starboard are two stainless steel opening port lights. Forward is a watertight hatch to the chain locker with cherry wood overlay door. Aft to starboard is a dresser with full height hanging locker. To port is the ensuite bath with single vanity sink, faucet, and mirrored medicine cabinet. There is a single opening stainless steel port light. Aft is a full size standup shower with fiberglass enclosure with curtain and rod. There is also a single Raritan toilet.
Located off the forward lower companionway opposite the port guest cabin is the laundry room. The room has built-in storage both forward and outboard. There is a pullout ironing board located in the outboard cabinetry. In the laundry room is a Maytag Atlantis washer and dryer (both oversized capacity).
The vessel has a semi-enclosed flybridge with a hard top with five forward windows, three of which feature windshield wipers/washers. The port and starboard side of the hard top have removable canvas windows for ventilation or great visibility when docking. At the aft end of the hard top there are drop down canvas enclosures which can be completely removed. There are three Stidd helm chairs at the bridge, a U-shaped seating area with table behind. This is a great area for entertaining or dining. There is a Sub-Zero undercounter refrigerator and freezer along with a wet bar, a stainless BBQ with overhead draft hood.
The vessel is powered by very reliable twin 1400 HP Caterpillar 3412E diesel engines, mated to 36"x32.9" five blade nickel-bronze propellers through ZF BW255AP marine gear/transmissions with a a gear ratio of 2.029:1 and 3"1/2' Shafts with Tides marine dripless seals. The reported consumption at 10 knots is 10 gallons per hour per side.
The vessel is equipped with digitally controlled Niad stabilizers and Hydraulic bow thruster.
The vessel has five Vacuum-type heads, The heads are connected to one 660-gallon FRP type III MSD (holding tank.) That is vented overboard.
The heads were connected directly connected to the MSD.
The vessel was also equipped with a 400-gallon (estimated) FRP gray water tank. The fresh water is stored in one 825-gallon FRP tank. The Pressurized hot and cold water is provided by a pair 120v of Headhunter Mark V pumps. Hot water is provided by two AC powered Rheem 1500-watt 40-gallon residential-type hot water heaters.
An FCI Max-Q 1.25 GPM 120VAC watermaker is installed in the engine room.
The vessel is equipped with a chilled-water Marine Air HVAC system with three compressors in the engine room operated by separate variable frequency drives. their are air handlers in each cabin, including salon, pilothouse, galley and engine room. Each of the 15 air handlers has its own control panel.
The engine room was equipped with a Delta-T positive ventilation system with both input and output fans.
The vessel’s engine room is equipped with a FM200 automatic fire suppression system and the suppression system is connected to a fuel/air intake cut off switch. The fire suppression system is connected to a remote control/monitor. The fire suppression system is equipped with a current inspection tag.
In the event of an emergency a portable gasoline powered fire/trash pump and hoses sufficient to reach any compartment on the vessel were located in a swim platform lazarette hatch.
